Not sure what to say?

I enjoyed working with Tom at the Hoosac School. He was such a kind, thoughtful man.

My son, Nicholas, had him as a teacher in the 1990's. He created a Landscape class for him senior year so he would have background in it before he entered a four year program at SUNY Cobleskill where he majored in Plant Science and Landscape Design. Tom Cochran was KINDNESS itself and a WHOLE HUMAN BEING. May he rest in Peace.

Tom was one of the great ones at Hoosac school! Loved and admired by each and everyone of the students at the school. My son Bryan had great admiration for him!

Mr. Cochran was my reading teacher at Hoosac. I remember feeling safe, happy, and respected in his classroom. What an honor to have been taught by a man with much integrity, patience, and wisdom. He was the coolest. Peace to his family.

He was a wonderful history teacher, a solid personality and a very good man. I only have good memories with him. Reminded me of Indiana Jones, always.

My condolences to family and friends of Tom. Have not seen Tom since we both rented rooms from Mike and Lucy Smith in Haydenville half a century ago, though we lived in adjacent towns (our little farm is in Richmond). He used to practice guitar, Leo Kottke, John Renbourne and John Fahey stuff, for hours. Tom had a Chevy Suburban the size of a school bus. Sorry we never got to talk about our old tractors. R.I.P., Tom.

We are so sorry to hear of your loss of Tom. What a beautiful man! Our love and prayers for his whole family.

A beautiful testimony for a well loved man who loved well. May you all take comfort in good memories of him. Peace to you all.
