Not sure what to say?

Please accept my sympathies on your loss. I just found out about Tom a few days ago and am still reeling in shock over it. He will be greatly missed.

With Love,

Dear Tom Cogan Family,
Our sincere condolences. One of the first places we went coming here 10 years ago was Cogan's. From that day on we knew we could always depend on a warm and friendly greeting from Tom. His desire to please and make everyone comfortable is a rarity today. He leaves a void in our town and in our hearts. God speed Tom Cogan!

Dear Family,
Our association with Tommy goes back to Sandy's Bar in Maple Hts., then he worked for chez Voizon on richmond & miles, then old booklyn, then the two burton restuarants, in all that time,it was a pleasure to know him. we will miss him, God bless your family.

My aunt, sister and I were at his Old Brooklyn bar on opening day (mid 80's) and many times thereafter. He was such a fun loving guy. So sorry to hear of his passing

I was so sorry to hear of Tommys passing. I owe 17 years of sobriety to Tommy. May he rest in peace at gods side!!!

Dear Heather and family,

I heard the sad news about Tom yesterday from my friend. The restaurant was one of the first places I went when I moved out here 11 years ago. Tom was always welcoming and kind. Burton won't be the same without him cooking out in the summer and wearing the beanie hat! My deepest condolences to you at this huge loss,

Lynn

Dear Cogan Family,
I had not heard the sad news until yesterday. My heart goes out to his entire family. Tom was always truthful, kind and generous to me. I will truely miss this remarkable man. I used to go to his original resturant on a regular basis but, after Red passed away I have been unable to go to the new location, still grieving his loss even after all these years.
My prayers go out to you during this very sad time.
Thank you Tom for touching my life in such a...

So sad to hear of this loss. We are new to the area and Tom was so welcoming to us. He was so sweet to even strangers... and it was always genuine. Thoughts and prayers to your family.
