Thomas COLBECK

Tom served in WW2 at the same base as my Dad- RAF 514 squadron in Waterbeach, England. I met him years ago when I held a mini reunion in Vancouver for all of the veterans that i had found in Western Canada. What a lovely and helpful man in my research,. You are missed.

Uncle Tommy's passing has brought back so many memories for me. Memories of playing pool in the basement of the house on Gilley Ave, Christmases, birthdays, etc. I remember Uncle Tommy starting my stamp collection when I was a little boy, he was always willing to spend time and talk with you. Next to my Dad, he was one of the most important male role models in my life. I will not forget him. My love, thoughts and prayers are with all of my cousins during these days.

Tom has been such a large part of why we have all enjoyed coming to work at the Canada Games Pool over the past years. He will also be missed by Kenneth and James (part of the gang of 4 Buss died a couple of years ago).
We will all miss him dearly!

So very sorry for your loss. Tommy was an inspiration to all who knew him. I will always remember the last time I saw him, dancing at Jake and Amanda's wedding in August with Catherine. His smile and full head of hair will never be forgotten.
