To Joie and Family-- I noticed the notice for Tom. My best wishes and kindest regards to you, each of you. Mr. Hodge steered me over to the Oak Grove Fred Meyer store for a job and that's where I met Tom. He was the store's Food Manager at the time, in 1975. Later I saw Tom at a grocery store, doing a recovery operation, around 1984, in Lake Oswego. Others told me he was very good at what he did, I guess including becoming a grocery store manage before he needed to shave! That's Fred...

Tom and I were good friends in High School. Many nights cruising Yaws in his 57 Chevy. Buddyroos forever!
