Not sure what to say?

Sue and family, There is hardly a day that goes by that I don't remember Tom. We spent many hours together during our youth. We shared school from Kindergarten thru High School. We played sports together and spent a lot of time at each other's homes. I was fortunate to receive a liver transplant in 2011 otherwise I would not still be here to mourn with you. I am thankful for each day that God has given me. I know Tom was thankful for each day he had with you, your children and grand-children....

Dear Sue, Chris, Bert, John and Jane and families, Tom is missed. He was like an older brother, teasing and wrestling at Sunday evening dinners at Cooper's house on Oakland Dr, joining my family at summer vacations at Okemos MI and, once, on our fishing trip into Canada at "mile 180 1/2 north of the Sault. He stayed close with my Dad and spoke at Bob's funeral. Thank you, Tom, for being your dwonderful self. Berta Dew Conant

Sue I loved Tom´s sense of humor, especially his irreverent insights about our medical careers. I´m saddened by his passing and words fail to convey the immense sympathy I feel for you and all who loved him.

To Sue and Family - Tom was a remarkable guy! We'll miss his wit and crafty smile! Thinking of you all!

To Sue and your lovely family my deepest sympathy and understanding. Your written tribute to Tom was done with such clarity and with an underlying sense of love expressed throughout. Indeed, Tom excelled at most everything as did all of your family. How I miss you as my neighbors. May the days ahead be softened with memories and the many people who so loved and admired Tom. I didn't personally know him on the golf course, but as one who lived next door your family was the...

Deepest Sympathy to your Family. I know Tom from when he would come to Arlington years ago and see local patients. I was a a part-time medical assistant for him there. Jean

Love to all the Cooper family. So sorry to hear of Tom's passing. He was always such a happy wonderful man loving his family and his many friends. He will be missed.

I had the privilege of working with Tom at the hospital for many years. He was a kind and tender soul. He had a great bedside manner and always put the patients at ease. He was good at teaching nurses and explaining to patients what was happening. He was always jovial and had a great sense of humor! Even though I haven´t seen Tom for years I have very fond memories of him. He will be greatly missed! Sooo sorry Sue and family for your loss of such a precious man.

My memories of Tom , were around the tennis community ... He was always uplifting and eager to play with anyone who stepped on the court, he was such a gentleman. He inspired me to reach for a happy honorable life . ..each time I saw him and his dear wife Sue, they projected a bond that inspired me to have that in my life. On and off the court , he shared his passion, sense of humor and enthusiasm for life. I am truly sorry to hear of his early passing and he will be with me and...
