my father was a smart man,at times a gentle man. He could debate just about any subject and was always up for a good argument. I will miss him terribly and wish I had the chance to tell him so. Despite what people may think my father had a great impact on my life I just wish ha had gotten the chance to know his grandsons. I will always remember the things he taught me. I love you dad.

I was shocked when I heard of Maher's passing. He was always so full of life and ready to take on a debate or cause. I only saw him occasionally when he passed through Rock Hill, SC to see my Mom Peggy Williams (his first cousin). He will be missed and my prayers go out to all the famly. Pookie was at the Maher reunion a few years ago and his daughter Elizabeth said Hillary helped them maneuver through the town and event. Maher will be remembered, in our prayers and sorely missed.
