Not sure what to say?

To the Corts' Family,
How sad I am to learn of Dr. Corts' untimely death. It was indeed a shock. As a doctoral student interested in Constitutional Reform, I had an opportunity to observe Dr. Corts during the early stages of the formation of Alabama Citizens for Constitutional Reform. He was a wonderful leader, a kind spirit, and gentle intellectual giant. He was also very kind to me--a non-Board member. I will always cherish his memory and appreciate his kindness and support. Dear Marla and Family,
Ed and I were stunned to learn of Tom's passing. When we first visited Monroe in 1976 you were one of the first couples we met. We were impressed with the Union County community but you and Tom were even more impressive. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Dear Mrs. Corts,

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this sad time. I remember Dr. Corts, Rachel, and you very fondly from my time at Samford. I'm now a professor at a small, religiously affiliated, liberal arts college in Minnesota. My experience here gives me even more respect for Dr. Corts's numerous achievements at Samford. God's peace to you.

Sincerely,

Dear Marla, I just learned of Tom's untimely death. My heart goes out to you and your family in this time of deep sadness. May you feel God's strong arms around you, carrying you through the valley of shadows.

Tom was such an influence on my life and career. I will be forever indepted and hope that whatever influence I have had on others is a tribute to his vision of my potential.

May God bless and keep you,

Rachel, I am so sorry to hear about the death of your dad. My prayers are with you and your family in the coming days.
Love, your 7th Grade Teacher

Dear Maria,

Tom was my debate partner at Georgetown College. We were great together. Tom was a great speaker, I did the research for the team and was second negative speaker. We had great success together. You may know that Tom stopped to see me in St. Louis a few years ago. Tom was an outstanding person and friend. I will value all the memories. My love to you and the family. I will continue to pray for Tom and all of you.

Tom and Jennifer Fuller
