Tom was an excellent musician and played in the Tempos dance band from junior college until the late 1970´s . Trumpet, and guitar were his instruments and we packed our instruments in his Crook´s plumbing van. He was a great friend.

My sincere sympathies to all of Tom's family. I have many fond memories of growing up in the same neighborhood as Tom. He was a skilled outdoorsman and I enjoyed hunting rabbits with Tom and his faithful dog, Queeny. There was a time that we had tickets to a Red Wings game at Olympia, but no way to get there. Tom was the only one in our group who had a driver's license, but we had no car. One of the parents knew Tom could be trusted and loaned us his second car for the trip. We had a great...
