He is one the most remarkable persons I have met. My heart is broken. I know his soul rests in peace. It could be nowhere else but the angels.

I learned about this only almost an year later. My heart is broken. I had the pleasure of being his Ph.D dissertation chair. He was brilliant, hard working, kind, and above all a good samaritan. He was one of the most remarkable persons I ever met. I know his soul rests in peace. It could be no where else but with the angels.

Charlie, I am so saddened to learn of Tom's death. It's been a long time since we've all gotten together to break bread and discuss philosophy. I loved Tom's, and your, passion for reading and discussing the various truths that unite and divide. There are really no more words.
