Thomas Norbert "Ted" CUNNINGHAM

CUNNINGHAM, Thomas Norbert "Ted" 92, died Saturday, June 16, 2012 in Dunnellon. Mr. Cunningham was born in Olean, NY and moved to Dunnellon in 1998 from St. Pete Beach. He was a WWII veteran servingin the U.S. Navy in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii from 1942-1945.He owned his own TV repair business, Cunningham's TV Service on St. Pete Beach in the 1950s-1960s, then joined Sears TV repair service in the mid 1960s until his retirement in 1983. He was a Christian by faith, enjoyed reading the Bible, watching Shepherd's Chapel TV program, fishing, playing golf, was a member of the Hole-In-One Club and spending quality time with his family and his beloved dog Daisy. Survivors include his wife of 63 years LaVerne, sons, Bruce (Stephanie), Orange Park, FL, Glenn (Cheryl), Dunnellon; Kenneth, St. Petersburg; daughter, Donna (Peter) Jemmott, Clearwater; 8 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at the Roberts Funeral Home, Dunnellon, Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 5-7 pm and at the Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home, Seminole, Friday, June 22, 2012 from 5-7 pm.Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home, Seminole with entombment to follow at the Garden Sanctuary Cemetery Mausoleum, Seminole.
