Not sure what to say?

I worked at Hagerty Grain through which Tom traded when he started. He would have me count his trading cards, both sides, to determine his position. No easy task. Big numbers that I had to do in my head. He insisted I do it and I learned to do it fast. He always made me laugh and he was terribly cute (he knew it!) so I never hesitated to gather his trading cards to process. Wish there were more traders like him but there weren't. He's was a one in a million trader that the CBT will miss...

I worked with Tom when he traded through Hagerty Grain. He would ask me to find his trading position from a stack of cards 3 inches thick, always a challenge but worth it because he could always make me laugh! So sorry for his sweet wife and children, I know he'll always be missed.

Dear Susie and Family,
I wish to express my condolences to you during this difficult time. May Our Lord send you the strength needed to bear this immense loss. Love

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day.
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak.
In the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still, this promise I make
You will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

The Cooney Family

I am profoundly grateful for the opportunity to have met Tom as a fellow classmate at St.Thomas College. I will remember him for his deep faith, good humor and integrity. He can only be described as a true gentleman in every sense of the word.

Tom fills my memories with humor, wit, generosity, foresight and insight. Although we haven't seen each other in years, he will always have my utmost respect and gratitude. My heartfelt sympathies to his Family.
Rest in Peace, Mr. Cunningham.

I knew Tom from the CBOT grain pits, and as CBOT Chairman. Of all the good people there, he was at the top. Honest, fair, good humored, smart, willing to help anybody. A profoundly decent, honorable man. I know what it is like to lose a parent, but if there is any consolation to search for in dealing with such a blow, your family should find it in his legacy and reputation. He was a magnificent guy. I am very sorry for your loss - it is ours too

The entire Cunningham family has my heartfelt condolences for the passing of Tom Cunningham, who was, like me, a long time member of the CBOT as well as a personal friend. These are sad times as the list of my fellow CBOT compatriots grows smaller with every passing day. Tom and I were on CBOT for decades together, but never in the same trading pit as he was in corn and I was in the soybean pit. We both served on the CBOT Board of Directors together, but also at slightly different times as I...

Thinking of you all during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you today and always.

Love, the Di Salvo Family
