Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to hear about your Dad. He was the nicest man and very handsome! I have some nice memories of him on Chebeague Island. I am sure his Irish eyes are smiling down on his family! My thoughts are with you all.

I worked with Tom at the Maine State Police barracks in Scarborough and in Houlton after we both transferred. Tom's commitment to his faith, work and family was remarkable and wonderful. He will be missed greatly. May God bless Tom's family in this time of mourning and celebration of a wonderful man's life.

Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to meet Mr. Curran. However, I attended high school with his lovely daughter, Stephanie.

I met up with Stephanie again a few years ago when we were both walking out of a Lincoln Center concert. She thought she recognized me after we hadn't seen each other for about 25 years, and reintroduced herself. Tom Curran was an perfect example of a great man by the way he led his life. I worked with Tom when he was a Dispatcher at the old MSP Scarborough Barracks on Route 1. He was a great man to talk to and he always gave great advice. I am sure that he was a great father for his family and an excellent role model. He will be sorely missed.

Respectfully,
Trooper Richard B. Maguire
Maine State Police-Troop G

Ispent many nights in the dispatch room with Mr. Curran. We talked about many subjects. I am thankful he was behind that desk looking after me while I was out on patrol. I really enjoyed his friendship and the many conversations we had. He was a very interesting man. So sorry for your lose.

Dear Dad,

Today is Little Christmas. I am not sure that I told you that I am a lector at Our Lady of Fatima, here in Queens, but I am. Today, at the 12:00 mass Msgr. Breen's sermon spoke of the importance of examining our lives, and seeking answers to some of life's questions.

Dad, you once asked me Stephanie, what are you going to do when I die? It was one of many occasions in which I needed your advice and guidance. So Dad, here is what I plan to do:
First, I will thank...

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself … any man’s death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
