Thomas Edward "Ted" Daniel

I flew with Ted on several flights and we always enjoyed our company. Ted was one of the most respected pilot in CAL. He never would put you down no matter what your position was on the flight deck. He was also loved by the flight attendance. Sure would have been great if all Captains had been like Ted.

Thank you, Ted and Vicky, for always supporting my efforts to sell Girl Scout cookies and other random items for my school programs. You always had a warm smile and something nice to say when you opened the door.

He must have been an amazing man to have such a amazing daughter. So sorry for your loss Tracy.

In 1968, I also started flying for Continental Airlines after my tour in Vietnam. I flew with Captain Ted as a 2nd Officer on several flights and became good friends, My family and I also lived in Camarillo where my daughter, Lorena Lewis and Tracy became goof friends. Ted was one of a few CAL pilots that I really enjoyed flying with, He always had a smile and something good to say. I never saw him worried about anything. I am sure his family and amigos will miss him, I know I will. Fidel...
