Like the memorial says, Tom was a friend of small business. Tom was the first newsman to do TV coverage of my shop during the Halloween season. He would call every Halloween and arrange a morning close to Halloween when he would do TV spots dressed in my costumes. It was great advertisement for my business, and we had great time doing it.
