Not sure what to say?

I worked with Tom as defense counsel on cases Tom handled. He was in Oregon; I was in Seattle. I always enjoyed working with him and taking him to dinner in the Portland area. A good man, a fine case manager and a fun guy to hang with. Never knew he returned to Iowa, but knew of his fondness for it. Dave Antal.

So sorry to hear of Tom’s passing and wishing the best to his family. I worked with Tom at Wausau. We took a business trip to Memphis, TN and had fun going to Beal Street, Rendezvous BBQ, and Graceland. A great guy, loved Tom’s humor.

This news is a terrible shock. . Figured Tom would always be laughing through life. Worked in the word processing dept. at Wausau Insurance so I knew him and we always enjoyed his laughter and great humor. I am just so sorry to learn of his passingk. kHe was a great friend. I will be letting others in the Portland region know about this as well. We just lost Don Schaller recently too.

Blessings to all your famkily.

I'm so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. My condolences go out to the DeHarts family, relatives & friends...God bless.

I golfed with Tom at Juiper. He was such a fine gentleman. I always enjoyed visiting with him. You have my sincere sympathy.

We were great friends in high school and loved our Oldsmobile V8 cars. We drag raced on the street in front of Nancy Sherwood's house (don't remember the name of the street) and Tom won with his '49 or '50 Olds coupe against my '52 Olds 88 convertible. And we always had fun doing our hand formed ocarinas!

I knew Jo when she was a little girl and her father worked on our farm. He was a hard worker and was a champion corn husker. I was quite a bit older so only knew Jo and her brothr, John, when they were small children. I reconneced with thm a few years ago at the 2017 Madrid High School reunion. I only met Tom at this time and it was so great to see Jo again as an adult. I did my student teaching at Roosevelt High School while attending Drake University, so Tom was there at the same time...

I was with Tom on the day he made a hole-in-one at Juniper GC in Redmond OR. Due to the terrain of the green we could not see the ball go in the hole but we knew it should be close. I got to the green before Tom, and as I walked past the hole I saw his golf ball resting at the bottom of the cup. I never paused, I just kept walking to the back of the green and pointed down the slope as though I saw Tom's ball. Of course Tom got to the green carrying a bunch of clubs and headed off to the...

Tom and I grew up across the street from each other on SW 42 and attended Rooselvelt. I graduated in 1955. We played many rounds of golf together. While our paths took different directions, we did stay in touch over the years.
Fair winds and following seas my friend.
