My very first job was washing dishes at TJ's Red Carpet when I was a young teen. Your dad was a gentleman, a loving father and a nice guy. He was very respectful to my dad and family on brooks avenue in quincy. Our friends in the'hood' had a lot of good times at the "carpet"......may your dad rest in peace with your mom. They were a very loving couple, as I recall.......my thoughts and prayers are with the family.
