I know that one of Tom's favorite memories from youth was 3 summers spent working at Chippewa Lake Park during his college years in the 1960's.He worked at the miniature golf course and guardhouse, and was with his best friends from Akron, Harvey and Harlan.The male employees slept in the bathhouse which was far from glamorous, but those idyllic, carefree days would still turn up in his dreams until his final days at Parkside Villa Nursing Home.I could see that besides attention from...

I would like to write a little more about Tom's life. After Kent State, Tom's career began in art studios with Manning Studios being the first. When art studios in Cleveland were dwindling, he spent years at General Electric's Nela Park until they closed their art department. He taught art at Cuyahoga Community College, Virginia Marti College etc.He illustrated books written by Russ Schneider including Cleveland Indians Legends in 2013. Dear Lois and Family, We were saddened to hear about Tom's passing. We all have lost a talented friend and artist who can never be replaced. He has left us with so many good memories that we all can forever hold in our hearts. His pain has now left him. Peace has come to him now.

I'm so sorry to hear the sad news. Tom was my softball coach for Dimitri's. He was always good to me. I visited him in Parkside Villa took a stroll thru the hallways. He showed me his paintings n a book he painted the pictures in. He will b very missed. R.I.P. my friend #24
