Tom has been my close friend since 1957. We shared the many experiences of growing up, through the 60's and 70's. Upon our reunion in Texas, in the 90's, we found our friendship as unchanged as the two boys who had started it 50 years ago, and had become friends for life.
We will miss you, DiFerd.

Deepest sympathy to family & friends. I only met him once but what a class act.

I still remember the great feeling of Tom tapping me on the shoulder at my niece's wedding and saying" Do you remember me, I'm De-Ferd". I hadn't seen Tom in over 30 years prior to that. We laughed pretty hard. It was one of those warm feelings that instantly tied you to your childhood. He was/is a very genuine guy. He will be missed.

Tommie was too young to be taken from us. Although sad, it comforts me we shared both the beginning and final days of his life on earth. Fond memories will be with me forever.

Tom and I became friends about 8 years ago, after he reunited with his two childhood friends, Al, and my husband, Robert Steronko.
My deepest sympathy goes out to his family. I miss you DiFerd!
