My condolences to the Dixon family. When I came to the Alabama State Port Authority in 2000 Tom was serving as the Vice President of ILA Local 1984. He represented his members well and was always fair and reasonable in his dealings with Management. He was a great electrician and I particularly remember all the time he volunteered to help with the submarine DRUM at Battleship Park. He was a good man and will be missed.
