Not sure what to say?

Mr. Dodd was such a special, kind and giving man. As a student, young professional and career horticulturist, I was inspired by his knowledge and passion for plants but I was even more affected by his kind heart and eagerness to share with everyone. He was a role model for me and he made a difference in our lives and certainly made our world more beautiful, one of God's blessings to all of us.

Alice and Family, My prayers are with you all and I know you will realize how MANY people love your Dad. He will be missed by so very many each and every day but we know he is in Heaven. What a great Husband, Father, Friend, and Businessman and most of all A GREAT CHRISTIAN! God Bless You All.

Lib, Jimmy and I want you to know you have been in our prayers for the past two weeks.
Alice, I wish I could have been there to support you but the weather was so nasty. I have heard what an incredible service it was. I knew it would be. What a wonderful man!!

Alice and family-Please accept my condolences for the loss of your loved one.

I met Mr. Tom Dodd in 1983 when I went to work for Tom Dodd Nurseries to do payroll and accounts payables. Little did I know that my duties would also include learning the plants by Botanical Names and taking orders from customers in person or by phone. I thought I would never learn those Botanical Names, however, Mr. Tom made it easier by bringing plants up to the office for Judy Mayer or me to identify. We called this our plant identification quiz. No matter where you went with Mr. Tom,...

To The Dodd Family,
Mr. Tom and all his brothers were always so kind to my uncle David Brown he worked there at the nursery for over 30 years. David was a special person he had many needs and all the Dodd's just loved him. Thank you for all that you have done and may god bless each and everyone of you.

Mr. Dodd was the epitome of a southern gentleman. He and his wife were very dear to my Mother, Willie Evans Horn. My heart goes out to the Dodd family.
