Not sure what to say?

We remember tom Doyle fondly from our experience in church choir in Montgomery AL. We were his "bookends" a tenor and soprano who read music! He introduced us to so many new songs that remained Favorites. Can still remember him shouting "mouth those southern lips and enunciate!" Enjoyed entertaining the choir at our house, God bless him.

Dr. Doyle came to Catholic in 1973, and we were his first Senior class. I felt like that year, we truly had a leader at our school. The other principals were ok, but this new guy really knew his stuff ! He could talk to you about anything from classical music to physics equations. Then there was Dr Doyle the choir director. I would not be where I am today...

Please accept my sincere condolences, "second to none", an authentic educator! A true class act! My prayers are with all family members! Peace be with you!

The next night all were focused and productive. Many more moments: Our Vietnam arguments at midnight on the steps of our Clairborne St. rental. The Thanksgiving fiasco--no Turkey, nobodies. There was, however, the magical trip to the...
