I was saddened to learn of the death of Monsignor Thomas J. Duane. At times such as these, words are unable to carry the full message of comfort and consolation which we want them to bear, but they are all we have. It was my privilege to celebrate Sunday Mass with him when I visited my mother, Isabel Wilsbach, over the past several...

Monsignor Duane welcomed me to Saint John of the Cross in Roslyn when I lived across the street. I always enjoyed his kind words, admired his patience, and respected his role as the Pastor,
He was a fine example of a good and holy man and priest. Rest in in Peace Monsignor!

Both John and I will miss you. We enjoyed having you at Annunciation. Gloria and John Cugini

Msgr Tom Duane and I are cousins. Our mothers were sisters. It has been many years since I've seen him -- virtually our whole adult lives -- and I'm so sorry for his loss. I was always comforted to know that we had a priest in the family helping others. Blessings on Tom, his brother Dan, and the many lives he touched. Doug Metcalf (Maj Gen, USAF Ret.)

Msgr. Duane was a classy man, a credit to Monsignor Bonner High and a fine pastor at Annunciation. We mourn the loss of a wonderful priest.

Though Msgr. Duane was with us at St. Mary Manor for just a brief time, he made a great impact on the residents, staff and volunteers. We enjoyed many lively conversations as we prepared for mass, especially about Ireland! He will be missed by many and we are so grateful to have known Msgr. Duane.

Our sincere and deepest sympathy in the passing of Msgr. Duane is extended Monsignor's family and friends. Monsignor touched so many lives with his presence and always left a special smile and place in the hearts of all he met. We have been blessed to have experienced his friendship, kindness and prayers.
