Between 1954 and 1958 Tommy Duddy was one of my best friends. For a while, we were pretty much inseparable. We drifted apart when my family moved out of the area in 1958. I have thought of him often and I always hoped he was happy. It sounds like he was.
The Tommy I'm thinking of lived on Jackson Avenue near Bostwick Avenue. I think Jackson Ave is now Martin Luther King Jr Drive.
Whether or not this is the same Tommy, you have my condolences and best wishes.
