Dear Sean and Erin,

My deepest condolences on the passing of your father. He was always very nice to me whenever I ran into him and he always showed me the latest pictures of his grandchildren. Both you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Erin and Sean,

Please know that you are in my thoughts, and that I understand so much of what you are going through right now. Wishing you comfort in the knowledge that your Dad has now found his peace....

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve. I've known your father for a long time and he loved his children and grandchildren more than anything. Please accept my sympathies for both your families.

Our deepest and heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your father, my brother. I'm pleased you selected a picture of him for the obituary where he was wearing the Hawaiian shirt I gave him July 4, 2006. He was so happy to receive that shirt. He sent me a copy of that picture. I'll miss calling him on weekends to beat him to the punch and ask him "What's the story." He always closed his conversation with "..and that's the story." I'll miss him sending me all the Notre Dame...
