I met Tom in the early 90s in Pescadero. We surfed and partied with the guys in beachside palapas and slept in our truck campers next to the surf. Tom and I kept in touch with each other throughout the years. I think about him often. A unique guy, a good man.

Tio Tom will be sorely missed by his family and friends. He was a great uncle to our children and was always so generous and entertaining. His dog Darby and our Hannah would play endlessly for hours and he'd delight in just watching them. He was a great host when we visited him in Mexico and it remains a lasting memory for our family. We will miss you Tom!

It is so very sad to read about Tom's passing. I hope other people will leave messages and tell stories about him.
