Tom was the best ... sincere, nice and funny! I was lucky enough to have my Financial Aid work study placement in his office for my 3 year stint at OU. He also agreed to be a work reference after graduation. It couldn't have been a more pleasant experience. He will be remembered fondly! Class of '83.

Shirley and Family, we are so sorry for your loss. Tom was a wonderful neighbor, and we enjoyed many conversations with him over the years. On occasion we were the recipient of his baking skills, and he'd show up at our door with delicious homemade oatmeal raisin cookies! We will miss Tom a great deal. Thoughts and prayers for your family.

Mrs Dunlap and family, I was so sorry to learn of Tom's passing and my most sincere sympathy. I respected Tom so much as a friend, professor and administrator. His loyalty to Ohio University was second to none. He loved Bob Feller and he made sure to provide me a book, a signed ball while I owned a physical therapy clinic. He always stayed in touch with me while I was Head Atlletic Trainer with Ohio Athletics. A true friend! RIP MY FRIEND!
