Not sure what to say?

We extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to the family, friends and parishioners of St. Martin of Tours Church on the loss of Father Dunphy.

Father touched so many lives in so many ways....
A truly Great Shepherd with a gentle spirit who taught us so much and brought us all closer to Christ. Father's words and actions will resonate forever.

Well done Father! Rest in Peace!

With Gratitude-
Visitors to St. Martin's

Fr Dunphy had a great impact on our lives when he served at the University of Akron Newman Center. He worked very hard leading the crazy Baby Boomers through troubled times. He will be missed. Julie(Shaw) & Charlie Miller

I remember Fr. Dunphy from over 40 years ago when he conducted retreats for my class at Norte Dame College when he was a chaplain at Akron University's Newman Center. A wonderful retreat master and a kinder priest could never be found. I'm only sorry I never had the privilege of being in his parish.
Rest In Peace Father and thank you.

Thank you, Fr. Dunphy, for having given me my First Holy Communion at St. Raphael's Church so many years ago! Enter now into the joy of Eternal Life, your reward for a life so spiritually blessed! Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace, Amen!

Rest in peace, Dear Father. Your old friend and neighbor.

Personally he blessed me with an opportunity last year to see Pope Francis. And because of that simple act, I have filled...

When Father Dunphy first came to St. Martin's, he walked the entire parish. He introduced himself and invited everyone to come to St.Martin's, catholic or other. All were welcome. He also blessed our home during that visit. He brought St. Martin's back to life. He was a kind, loving man of God. He will be missed.
