Not sure what to say?

Tom was one of my father's closest friends for many, many years and through their relationship, I had the great pleasure of getting to know Mr. Dupree myself. What an amazing person. This is a time of sorrow, but I will celebrate his life and commit to "paying it forward" as I once told him. Well done Tom. We will miss you.

I never met Tom Dupree but I have certainly benefitted from his generous spirit. I live very close to the Dupree Nature Preserve and hike there several times a month. Every time I go I silently thank him for such a valuable gift. It is a beautiful place.

The world was certainly a better place because of Tom . A most gracious gentleman who made all feel welcome and loved when in his presence. His warmth and generous nature blessed our family. We are grateful to have known him and will keep his memory in our hearts .

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Memories of the kindest, always up and positive lovable cousin -in -law at our family reunions abound. I will be ihinking of all of you, his family, with love and sympathy.....my prayers...Hattie

Mr. Dupree was my next-door neighbor when I grew up in Lexington. What a wonderful man: bright, witty, artistic, and very, very funny. The obituary mentions the piano, but he also played wonderful banjo and ukulele, loved classical music (which I teach at Duke), and made an excellent mint julep. The entire Gilliam family mourns the passing of this Kentucky gentleman and know how much he has meant to his family.

Tom was someone who always made me smile, just by his presence. He was one of the most genuinely kind and loving people i ever knew. I was honored to know him.

I am so sorry to hear of Tom death. He was a good and kind man. I enjoyed so many cousin camps getting to love you all. You are in my prayers.
