I was so saddened at the news of the passing of Dr. Dykes. I had the utmost respect and admiration for him. He delivered all four of my children. As a matter of fact, I named my younger son (Jason Thomas) after Dr. Dykes. My heart and prayers are with his family.

On behalf of our family we would like to extend our deepest sympathies for the loss of Dr. Dykes. Although we did not know him in our adult lives, he did deliver myself, Jackie in 1964, sister Jeana in 1960, sister Julie in 1956 and brother Bryan in 1954 - all at the Methodist Hospital in Oak Cliff. He was a great friend as well as doctor to our parents Al & Lee Walker. On behalf of our remaining family, may all of you be blessed for having had Dr. Dykes in your life. Our prayers are with you...

Dr. Dykes was the epitome of a truly good man and a wonderful, caring doctor. He delivered my second child, a son, in December l968. It was a difficult time for me, as my husband had been killed in a plane crash during my first trimester of the pregnancy. More than that, I was so grateful to him for giving me hope and encouragement. He had such a...

Dr. Dykes was truly one of kind. He delivered my son in 80 & my daughter in 85. He was always smiling & took the time to talk to his patients. The picture brings back a flood of memories. My thoughts & prayers are with his family. He will truly be missed.

Our deepest sympathy to the family of Dr. Dykes. Dr. Dykes delivered both of my sons (1979 and 1984)and most of my nieces and nephews. He was very dear to our entire family.
