Read MoreSo sorry to hear of Tommy"s passing. Lost contact during our adult life,but we were cousins and were raised (a block away) in Brooklyn in the 40's. He taught me how to "skate" and ride a bike. His dad and my grandmother Ethel Eason Toler were "sibs" I was born in 1935 and he "sorta" took me under his wing. Ironically, my married name is Easom. RIP, Tommy.

Chief Eason was a man's man. I worked with him as a rookie at HQ. I had the highest respect for him and enjoyed working for him. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and fellow firefighters. God's speed Chief.
