Not sure what to say?

I had Dr. Eck for several classes during my 6 years as a student at Case in the 70s. I found him to be kind, pleasant, helpful, and to have a good sense of humor. I'd even say that he was jolly. I have nothing but fond memories of him.

Like many here, I was thinking about Professor Eck and was saddened to find his obituary. My condolences to his family and friends...he was a wonderful teacher and mentor whose lessons and advice will always have a positive impact on my life.

I was thinking of Prof Eck today and found an obituary of him. My condolences to Prof Eck´s family and friends. Norman C Fond memories of his physics classes from 1982-1983 at CWRU

I was just thinking of Professor Eck, and was saddened to hear of his passing when I found this site. I'm grateful for the style and openness he taught with during my first year as an undergraduate. It really boosted my confidence in my chosen path! One memory that will stay with me always is the visual imagery he created by asking us, with great enthusiasm, to think about the effect of a million ping-pong balls hitting a brick wall.... ah, maybe one had to be there!

I am so sorry that I missed the memorial for Tom. We were friends with Bam and Tom for years through mutual friends, the food coop, our neighborhood in Cleveland Hts and trips to CMA. If you can respond and let me know how Bam is doing I'd like to write to her even if she can't respond. l

It's been over half a century, but I remember you as the best teacher I ever had in any subject. In retirement myself, I am reflecting on those who made a difference in my life and you are at the top of the list. Your tutelage and guidance provided me with a model to emulate when it came my turn to "pass it on." What a difference one life can make in the lives of others. Thank you and may you rest in peace.

Dear Bam,
Chet and I are so sorry to hear about Tom. We remember him (and you) so fondly, and had so many good times at Chez Crouch and other gatherings. We send prayers and love to both of you.
Love,
Barb Huber
