Thomas Eckman M.D.

I only recently learned of the passing of Dr. Eckman. Our youngest son needed his birth certificate, saw his name and googled it out of curiosity. I met Dr. Eckman when both my husband and I were 18 and I was pregnant. From day 1, Dr. Eckman was so kind and caring. He told me had a daughter named Elizabeth too. By the time I was 25 he had delivered all 4 of our children and each delivery was unique. He was such a wonderful doctor and I always knew I was in the best of hands. I am almost 60...

Very sorry to hear of Tom's death. We worked together at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downer's Grove. He was a good and conscientious Physician

So proud to have had him as a mentor & colleague. He was a brilliant & empathetic teacher & clinician. Family was always #1. My condolences to the family & thanks for sharing him with his students.
