Not sure what to say?

First anniversaries after death are hardest, and so I wish Tommy's family and closest friends a day filled with good memories, not sadness. Oh, my goodness, how he did love to talk. That's what I'm thinking of now. Heavenly blessings, to Tommy and all who loved him.

He was very much a part of my newspaper life, a fixture in the newsroom, a teller of great stories. I can't say how long it's been since I've seen him, but when I saw Vincent Creel's posting yesterday of his death, I felt so very sad. Peace and grace to him and his family. He was a fine fellow.

I have an enduring memory of Tommy, when I gave him a roll of film and for years afterwards, he always thanked me. Such a nice guy. RIP Tommy.

Tommy and I worked together in the good old days at the Sun Herald. I was a staff photographer and Tommy helped cover high school football games. From those early days, Tommy and I developed a friendship that lasted many years. I'm thankful for my friendship with Tommy. He was a good man. RIP Tommy

Tommy, it was a pleasure to have known you and worked with you. I know you are at peace with you family and Maxine now. Will miss our conversations, but know you were in our thoughts and prayers.

A fine fellow and a great gentleman. Just the best among us. Prayers and condolences.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

A true Biloxian... all the history he'd seen... a true gentleman.
