I am sorry that I was not able to attend the service. Dr. Reis was the epitome of the true gentleman and a stellar example of what we should all strive to be. My sincere condolences to the entire Reis family.

My condolences to the family of this special man. This may sound silly but I am sharing it any way. I knew Dr. Reis first from my work at Social Security, processing Disability applications in the 1970's. I received many medical reports from many professionals across the metro area. I am so sorry to read this and I send my deepest condolences to his family. I knew Tom briefly in the early 1980s when I was Public Affairs director for Southwest Washington Hospitals. He was always in a good mood, a great physician and a gentleman.

Our thoughts and prayers for Dr. Tom Reis MD, FACP, his wife Gerrie and family. He was a wonderful, caring, and compassionate Physician. Dr. Reis MD served the Vancouver and Portland Communities well. He is one of the most caring and kind person we have known. When you were really ill, he always gave you his home phone number and asked that you called him daily... Rest in peace Mike and Bonnie Graeff

Dr reis was a fine doctor I enjoyed working with him at swmc

Very Good Caring Doctor...Saw him come in the hospital on his patient rounds and transcribed many of his orders. Sad to hear this.

Tom Reis was the first physician to rise up to take care of HIV patients in Clark County when no one else would . He was a wonderful compassionate doc and a great guy. I was fortunate to inherit his patients who loved him dearly. I was honored when he asked me to be a co-team physician for the original Portland WNBA team the Fire, who had a short but memorable run. My thoughts are with Gerrie and the family, he was a TVC legend
