Tom lived a half mile away from me when I lived on Larch Mountain Road. He with his primered '49 Merc and me with my maroon '50 Merc would cruise to the DQ in Troutdale for lunch - what a sight for the locals! When I rode in his '34 truck I had to ride with my head tilted out the window. When we moved I lost touch with Tom and I was just looking up Corbett and thinking about how good it was when we lived there. Tom was a man I will never forget. His loss makes me feel old, but grateful...

So sad to hear of Tom's passing. I met Tom through"cars".Only talked to him once or twice a year--- He brightened my day each & every time.
