Thomas B. Flanagan, 52, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2013. Visitation is Tuesday, July 9, at 10:30 a.m. with a memorial service at 11 a.m. at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions, 2609 Cunningham Dr., Hampton, Va., (757) 825-8070. Born in New York City, N.Y., Tom was a resident of Yorktown, Va., for 14 years. He worked for a security company at Fort Eustis, Va. Tom is survived by his wife, Dorothy L. Flanagan; sister, Anne Marie Shattuck; brothers, Kevin Flanagan and Glenn Flanagan; mother- and father-in-law, Marion and Julius 'Lou' Augunas; his wife's three siblings; 12 nieces and nephews; and his "girls", Angel, Gazoo and his favorite, Astro. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Anne Flanagan of Bloomfield, N.J.

So sorry to hear about this, Tom was a childhood friend of mine, lived around the corner from him & Kevin. The memories bring a smile, lots of fun, lots of everything. My condolences to his wife, friends & family. and Angel, Gazoo & Astro. RIP Tom

Dot, You know Tom will be greatly missed by Teresa and I. I certainly will miss the time he and I always spent chatting in the street in front of our homes. You know if you need any thing all you have to do is call or walk across the street. Our prayers are truly with you.
