I spent time with Jack and Tom at High Tension and always felt privileged to be in their company. They loved each other profoundly and knew Tom could not hold out long after Jack's passing. Tom wore his heart on his sleeve and was always authentic.

I will miss Tom having worked with him as his assistant for five years.

I had the pleasure of working for Mr. Fleming. My wife and I have fond memories of visiting "Wit's End" which he graciously shared with us for a weekend away. As he would occasionally yell from his upstairs balcony office, "Great Pot!" Kathleen and I send our condolences to the family. Sincerely, Eapen Leubner

Mr. Fleming was always the example of class. As his supplier of furniture and drapery for his clients for many years, I have always had the deepest respect for him. I always referred to him in the formal "Mister". Referring to him as Tom didn't seem right. He was more than a customer. He was an icon in his field and I guess I felt that needed to be respected. Even after his retirement, I always called during the holidays to see how he was doing- still using the formal Mr. Fleming because...
