East Longmeadow- With profound sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Thomas D. Foley, age 79, on 10/14/2021. He was born on April 3, 1942 in Springfield, Massachusetts, to the late Ralph H. Foley and Edna Dragon. He was a graduate of Trade High School in Springfield and worked in the metal plating industry. Tom is survived by his sons, Ryan T. Foley of Watertown, CT., and Shaun F. Foley of Enfield, CT., and his daughters, Shannon Carvalho, and Erin Foley, both of Chicopee, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also leaves his siblings, Judith Sheehan of South Hadley, Raymond Foley of Jacksonville, FL., Bonnie Megliola of Westfield, Carol Graves of Fort Myers, FL., Rocky Foley of South Deerfield, Marianne Officer of Ellsworth, ME., William Foley of Deerfield, and Michael Foley of Tucker, GA. A memorial service will be held at the Corridan Funeral Home, 333 Springfield Street, Chicopee, on Friday, October 22, 2021, from 2p.m. to 4p.m. To leave your condolences for the family, please visit www.CorridanFuneral.com.

I'm so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I worked for him and ran for groceries. Tom was a great story teller, a proud father, proud of his Irish heritage, a bright smiling man who was always welcoming. Tom you will be missed. Rest in peace my friend. My sympathies to your family.
