May you Rest in Peace

At Woodrow Wilson High School, Tom was my brother, Cy's, friend. Then I became his friend too. Later, my two sisters, Sue and Sara, became friends with Tom. At some point, Tom was simply like another member of our family. Though we had all moved from Levittown, we all kept in touch with Tom. It was a pleasure because Tom was just wonderful to speak with. He was kind and full of interesting insights. My last conversation with Tom was only two days before he died. Tom did everything in his...

Tommy Forsaith lived down the street (Shelter Lane) from me in Stonybrook. We went to school together all through John Fitch, Neil Armstrong and Woodrow Wilson years. Tommy never in his entire life had a negative word about anyone! Tommy was a class act! His memory was amazing, he could name every student in our grade school class photos!! Since finding each other on Facebook, I have enjoyed many conversations with him. I'm gonna miss you my longtime friend, neighbor and classmate ❤

Tommy, you and your family are and will always be very much part of my story growing up with you on Shelter Lane. It meant so much to visit with you last year and I will never forget you. RIP Carrie Jean Writer Murdoch Larkspur, Colorado

rest peacefully Tom

I met Tom as we were members of SABR. We determined that we both attended Wilson as I lived in Edgeley and he lived in Stonybrook. When we saw each other at SABR events we would talk about the Phillies. We had fun at events in Philly and other places. We missed him at SABR events these past few years. I hope he playing baseball with a Roy Halliday and Bobby Doerr.

Tom always left you amazed with his intellect, wit, and attitude that would uplift anyone. Steve and I traveled with Tom on many a baseball trip over the years as well as to the SABR conventions which were always a great time. Tom was the true definition of a class act who always had a keen insight on life, and I will cherish the memories of the times we got together. I extend my deepest condolences to Tom's family and friends and wish him eternal happiness.
