Not sure what to say?

To the Forsythe Family - please allow me to express my deepest sympathies at Tom's passing. He was a friend and colleague of my father - Manuel Horwitz. When I returned to Providence 35 years ago to practice Rheumatology I enjoyed Tom's reading films with me when it was Ray Medical. He was great guy and a wonderful physician.

Dear Nancy, Tommy, and Patti,
I cannot express in just a few words what you all mean to me, from the years at Henry Barnard, the little house on Barstow Rd, to 111 Ann Mary Brown Drive. We went our separate ways, but I always returned with my two daughters to see your Mom and Dad when visiting from Honduras. They always greeted us with open arms and the girls still each have a little bent wood basket marked with a thistle that Doc gave them. He amazed them with his clocks, piano...

Mrs. F, Nancy, Tom, Patty and Grandchildren: Dr. Forsythe was a true Renaissance man and raconteur. I will remember him from early days in Boy Scouts, and yes, I do remember the slide show and talk of his work in North Africa. He will be missed but never forgotten, truly one of life's truly unforgettable characters. My condolences to all of you.

Tom,
So sorry to see the loss of your dad. His life was filled with many professional accomplishments and a wonderful life. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

To Nancy, Hannah and Jamie:

What a beautiful tribute in the Providence Journal. Although I didn't know your father/grandfather well, I admired him tremendously. Roger and I treasure the frames he made (and you inscribed, Nancy, with Abigail and Sam's birth announcements!) as well as the exquisitely woven bread basket you recently gave us.

We are sending all our love. Please know that he lives on in the three of you.
