Tom , while we both became too involved in our individual lives to see each other much since the years we enjoyed together at Montevallo the pleasant memories from those years will always hold high value. You were a great friend.

Tom, I wrote this poem for you. It is called, "The Music in Our Souls." It goes something like this. As time unfolds, our souls are revealed, with generations still to come, and as we procreate, we pass on talents and abilities, to others who become, enlightened with the music, that comes from within our hearts and minds, as we reveal our shining lights, from the beginning, since we were young, and even as we pass in life, our spirits and our melodies remain, forever young! Tom, I first met you, Alice, Johnny Mac, Biff, Cliff and the rest at ABC WWOM in B'wood Mall in the mid 70's. It was a great time and we had a blast working there together. You were an awesome drummer and musician and I had a great time following the bands that you, Doug and others kept going. Rest in Peace old friend.
