So sorry to lose my dear friend of over 80 years. It was a wonderful childhood t growing up together in East Haven. So many memories of fishing in Lake Saltonstall and the farm river, swimming in the 'swimming Hole in back of Tom's house, playing ringalario in the streets at night, eating ice cream from the Good Humor man, sleeping over in our "shack". I will miss him, his smile, his sense of humor, his friendship. May he rest in peace.

Uncle Tom always seemed to get such a kick out of things - kids (especially his grandkids), dogs (especially Blue), toys (his truck). One of the last times I saw him was when we ran into each other outside Walmart in Old Saybrook. We were both amazed to see each other. I had just move to Essex, so it felt nice and "homey" to run into family. And Uncle Tom, well, he was just tickled.
