I remember Bubba was lil out tight back in the day. I have not seen him in at least 40 years. May you rest in heavenly peace, but you can't crown him till I get there.

I knew Det Franklin with the El Paso Sheriffs Office...He was always smiling and was always kind to everyone. We laughed MANY times. I remember that no matter where he was, I would sing "super freak" and he would stop right in the middle of whatever he was doing and start dancing.....whether at the office, Walgreens, even at the doctors office where I would occassionally run into him.
We all have our memories of Franklin that we will cherish forever.
He is greatly missed by all.... May...

Thomas Duane Franklin, Jr. ("Bubba") was blessed with a magnificent spirit. I met him when he came to visit my brother, Leroy Powell, Jr., at our home when they were second graders. For many years afterwards, he was my brother's constant and faithful friend. He visited our family often as a child and a young man, and joined in many special family events.
