I met Tom while living in the SF Bay Area. We were introduced by a mutual friend and quickly became good friends ourselfs. He was always reliable and the only buddy I've ever had that remembered my birthday. If ever Tom had a sandwich he would give you half of it, if you were cold would offer his sweatshirt even if it ment he would go without.
