Not sure what to say?

Shirley, I was saddened to learn about Gene.Even though we haven't been to Ohio for many years,I have fond memories of Gene welcoming me to join you when you went water skiing. Oh the memories of fun, laughter, and patience for a beginner! Charlie said Gene made him feel right at home when we visited. Reading the comments from friends I think we all saw and loved those same qualities. During this difficult time, may the Lord wrap His loving arms around you and your family to comfort and give...

A great neighbor and even greater human being. I will miss my "let's talk" buddy!

A great man, brother firefighter and mentor to many. It was an honor to have served as a firefighter with Gene. A gentleman and a servant to all...never to be forgotten.

Please accept my deepest sympathies.

Shirley, I;m sorry to hear about Fuggy we made many runs together at Co# 2 and he was fun to be around. Played many rounds of golf together.

So sorry to hear this sad news - may your many fond memories console all of you. From a fellow firefighter's family, sincerely, Joann & Lyle Moore

Shirley and family,
I am so sorry to hear that Gene has passed. He was my father's favorite nephew and my favorite cousin. After l married and had my sons they truly enjoyed all the times they visited with Gene at the fire station on Millville Ave. as they grew up. Gene will be missed enormously. May you find solace in knowing you had a wonderful husband, father and grandfather in Gene.

Lori My thoughts are with you and your family god bless.
