My heartfelt condolences to Mary Alice and to the family of this wonderful guy. Tom was the man that introduced me to the possibility that a St. Mary's grad could go to USNA. From Wilkes Barre to Annapolis is a far greater leap than a mere 200 miles and Tom led the way. Tom's friendship with his high school classmate and my brother, Peter Smith, gave me the courage to pursue my ambition to be a navy pilot and for that I shall remain eternally grateful.
