Not sure what to say?

I had known Father Tom since I was in 6th grade at St Hilary school. We moved to Florida and he continued to be part of our family, visiting my parents until they died, then visiting my husband and I until he could not travel . What a great man and priest he was! I was blessed to have been his friend. RIP dear Father Tom. I still tell many people about you.

I learned only yesterday of Fr. Gallagher's death. I remember his time at the former St. Martha's, Akron, during which he had a great impact on my desire to become a priest. He and I kept up infrequent correspondence during my years in the seminary, but he came to visit my parents' home shortly after I was ordained, while I was still there on vacation. Even though we lost touch, I remember his dedication to civil rights and justice, and his desire to be a true servant of the Lord towards...

To the fraternal and religious family of Father Gallagher, So sad to just today learn of Father Gallagher's passing (St V&M marquis). Our family (Martha, Raleigh, Chandler, and David Blewett) have had a special fondness for Father since his arrival at Saint Hilary 1960 -ish. Father Gallagher was the epitome of a Catholic Priest-- thoughtful, kind and sincere--an excellent Man that all of the parish admired and loved.
After the briefest of five-years, the...

Our family heard of father Tom's passing after his services thus my condolences are late for his family. He was one of the most loving and understanding priests that God blessed me to ever meet. We'll never forget the joy and enthusiasm he put into what ever the task or challenge. May the Lord keep him in His love until we meet again. Yours in Christ, the Kennedy and Reeves families

Father Tom was a wonderful, dedicated priest. He had a special interest in serving the poor and those less fortunate. For many years, Father Tom served as the caring and extremely effective Catholic chaplain for persons suffering from severe mental illness, hospitalized at Northcoast Behavioral Healthcare, a long term mental health facility. Father Tom also served as chaplain at the Wade Park V.A. Hospital. Father Tom was a great friend and I will miss him. It is comforting to know that he is...

Many people will walk in and out of your life but only true friends leave footprints in your heart such was Fr.Gallagher. we are proud to have had you as a member of our American Legion Post.

I knew Father Gallagher when I attended St. Hillary's as a boy. I loved how he really cared about people and how he was so friendly with us kids. I remember him saying, "Frank, baby, how are you doing?" He really made an impression on my life. Today I am a minister preaching about Jesus. He was a great guy.

Dear Family & Friends of Father Gallagher:
Our sincere condolences on his passing. He was a kind and loving mentor and friend to our family over a 50 year time span, from St. Hilary's to St. Philip Neri to St. Vincent. Although he was diminutive in stature, he was a giant when it came to courageous moral example and living out his Catholic faith. We will surely miss his smile, his laughter, his loving presence, and his encouraging words. He "walked the walk" following Christ his entire...
