Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to hear this. Tom was a great friend of mine in high school. When he showed up at Shaker, he was already the best guitarist there. We jammed a million times and played in some bands together. What a talent, with that sparkle in his eye. He was like a brother to me. After high school we worked together briefly at The Last Moving Picture Company in downtown Cleveland, at the height of the disco era. We had to clean the shag floors by hand the morning after. I am deeply saddened to learn of Toms passing. My heart goes out to his daughter and wonderful family. I lost touch with Tom in my early 20s and have wondered about him often. I know he struggled. My thoughts and prayers are with him, and the family. May he rest in peace.

I was a good friend of Tom, Dr. Spo, when he lived in Kent in the 90's and early 2000's. He helped my non profit art and education organization, Standing Rock Cultural Arts set up it's website. www.standingrock.net. He was an amazing artist, musician, and lover of nature. He was also President of Kent Natural Foods Co-op before he moved out west to Portland. Once we wrote a song together and he ended up recording it. It's called "Honeybee" and you can hear it here. ...

Single Memorial Tree

I remember hitchhiking from ocean City, md to Cleveland with Tom back one summer in our high school days. Got stuck in some bad thunderstorms. Made good time though.

Sincere condolences to Ellen (my childhood friend and neighbor) and the rest of Tom's family and friends. I didn't know Tom well but I'll always remember his kindness in going out of his way to give me a copy of a photo he took of me during the filming of the Paul Simon movie in Cleveland. Wishing you peace and strength during this difficult time.
