Thomas A. Glynn

Tom and I go back to child hood, from Walnut Street in Springfield. Ma., in the '30's. Please accept my condolences on his passing.His kindness, generosity and his great smile for all these years could not be diminished. I know there is a special place in heaven for the "Tom Glynn's" of this world.

You know whats great about having a good father? All the things you thought you dad was wrong about turned out to be right. You know when you find that out? Life experiences and when you have children of your own. Thank God for my parents and especially my dad who gave us a solid foundation that we can give to our children as well.

Thomas was a kind, compassionate and loving uncle! A member of his family for more than 30 years, he was as much a father as uncle. When I taught 5th grade at Hidenwood Elementary, Newport News, VA, Tom bought a home across from the school and was a frequent visitor, bringing treats for students and listening to their stories. We spent every Sunday together, especially during football season. In all the years I have known Thomas, he has never uttered a mean or unkind word about anyone. I...
