Tom was a gentle man, but with no fear of standing strong for his principles. I knew him as a fellow band member for 30 years. He was one of the original founders and always a solid piper through thick and thin. He withheld his opinions until he had heard every side of an argument, then came up with the compromise that would usually be our answer. A good guy .. and friend.
